Material description:

Ring and rolling element materials:
Rings and rolling elements are often made of high-carbon chromium bearing steel. Most of the bearings use JIS SUJ2, as is specified all over the world like AISI52100 (United States), DIN 100Cr6 (Germany), BS535A99 (United Kingdom) and GCr15 (China). Furthermore, excellent heat-resistant high-speed steel and corrosion-resistant stainless steel can be used for special purposes.

Cage material:

The material used in a pressed claw or rivet cage is low carbon steel or brass, depending on its purpose.

When assembling a crown-shaped cage, the ball can only be mounted into a special ball holder. Under a low speed, it has a lower starting torque and flexible rotation.

Stainless steel cages can be formed with or without a claw and are mostly made of 304 or 316 stainless steel.
